Richard Hunt
"Improvisations on Modernism"

Richard Hunt has completed more public sculptures than any other artist in the US.   His work is represented in major museums and collections internationally. He has eight honorary degrees and was one of the first artists to serve on the governing board of the National Endowment for the Arts.

Richard is famous for his abstract works which suggest recognizable human and natural forms.  He creates his metal and welded sculptures from his Chicago-based studio.

The exhibit runs through October 8th and includes sculptures, lithographs and paintings which are available for sale. The event is free and open to the public.

Gallery owner, Zabel Belian is an accomplished artist, teacher and creator of beautiful ceramics which she also sells from her studio.

The Belian Art Center is located at 5980 Rochester Rd in Troy (SE corner of Rochester Rd and Square Lake). Gallery hours are Noon to 6pm Monday through Saturday. Phone number is 248-828-1001.
