Next I/ACT meeting Reminder  - Image and Arts Council of Troy
Monday April 25, 2011  1:30 pm - Troy Public Library 

We'll discuss the the Thursday, June 9th Art Marketing seminar and I/ACT fundraiser to be held at  Leon and Lulu's (details below). There will also be an update about the Cultural Alliance of SE Michigan regional meeting and the two day Rust Belt to Arts Belt symposium.   

We're also looking for a new meeting location. Zabel Belian of the Belian Art Center at Square Lake and Rochester Rd has generously offered her location as an option. Due to the Memorial Day Holiday - the next meeting date will be either May 23rd or June 6th.

The I/ACT meetings are free - and anyone interested in the Arts in Troy is encouraged to attend. Visit our website at www.TroyArts.org.  If I/ACT members have news items to post, please email to info@troyarts.org by the 15th of the month.

There will be refreshments and the panel discussion will begin at around 6:30pm.  This should be a very exciting and informative event filled with lots of tips about how to sell more of you art!   


Not only will  Mary Liz Curtin, the illustrious owner owner of Leon and Lulu's be speaking but also April McCrumb from Catching Fireflies and Anne Kuffler the owner of Ariana Gallery in Royal Oak.

Langsford Men's Chorus
Spring Concert Series 

May 11, May 13, and May 15th 


Langsford Men's Chorus is an internationally recognized, award winning choral group  that was started by six alumni of the Wayne State University Men's Glee Club.  I/ACT member Larry Keisling performs with the organization and has participated in their international competitions.  Tickets: $12 in advance; $15 at the door. I/ACT Meeting Dates for 2011

We had meetings dates at the Troy Library through April 2011.  The new meeting location for I/ACT beginning in late May 2011 will be decided shortly.  The next meeting will be held on either Monday
May 23rd or Monday, June 6th.
