Panel Discussion and I/ACT Fundraiser  - Our Illustrious Speakers:

Mary Liz Curtin - Leon and Lulu,  Clawson, MI
Anne Kuffler -  Ariana Gallery, Royal Oak, MI
April McCrumb - Catching Fireflies, Berkley, MI

Wholesale selling is a whole different can of paint from selling to consumers.  Three of metro Detroit's top retailers will teach you how to sell your art to stores and galleries, the difference between selling and consigning your work and how to invoice. They'll also share success (and perhaps horror) stories from the retailer's point of view.  Whether you are a seasoned veteran or just starting out, this presentation will help you build your wholesale business.

Next I/ACT Meeting & Location

Due to the changes at the library, I/ACT will be meeting at a new location and the meeting location may also vary from month to month. Two great options that have come forward are the Belian Art Center and the Michgan Design Center.
The location for the next meeting will be confirmed in a few days and we'll send out a separate email.
Due to the Memorial Day holiday we are meeting earlier this month: on Monday, May 23rd. Meetings start at 1:30 pm, usually lasting until 3pm.

Contact Linda Shears (linda@lindashears.com) or Charlene Brown  248-813-0234 with any meeting questions.
