The next planning meeting date has been set for the upcoming I/ACT booth at the Novi Spring Home & Garden Show:

We must hear from you by Mon Feb 20th  to be considered for the home show event.  We are hoping for around 20 artists. Currently we have approximately 12.   

The I-ActConnection Yahoo Group will also have  timely updates about the show.  You can join the group using your Yahoo, Facebook or Gmail account email ID.     

Novi Home/Garden Show: Entry Deadline Mon Feb 20th

If you want to be considered for this show,  we must hear from you by Monday, Feb 20th. 

1) Email linda@lindashears.com or call 248-877-3994.

   Mail entry fee of $25 with your name and contact information.

       Checks  should be payable to NWCF - I/ACT FUND

2) I/ACT receives a commission of 10% on all artwork sold at the event.   
(to defray expenses for signage, flyers, etc.)

3) This is a juried show and artworks will be selected based on how well they fit or enhance with the overall theme of the show. 

4) Artists are encouraged to donate one piece of artwork for  various giveaways to help increase I/ACT & artist database. 

5) If possible, please provide a website where we can view your work (or upload images to yahoo group).     

6) Artists must be available to help with set up, take down and staffing the booths. 

The  Home and Garden Show that will feature an amazing display of fresh flowers and creative landscaping ideas! Attendance and sales are up from previous years

Let's have our artwork focus on anything related to flower / garden theme, even if it is only via the colors that are used.

If you cannot attend, we MUST hear from you beforehand that you want to be part of this show.

March 31     11AM - 9PM Sunday,
April 1    11AM - 6PM

Please plan on being at the show to sell your own art for at least a few hours everyday. We need a crew (artists or non-artists)to help us install grid walls, etc on these days:

Thursday March 29

Take down is after the show ends on Sunday or on Mon April 2nd.

We need hosts/hostesses to be at our booth table at all times to answer consumers' questions, etc.

There is no charge at attend. Meetings are open to anyone interested in promoting arts and culture in Troy. Artists are encouraged to bring work samples for discussion. Our website is TroyArts.org.     
St.  Joseph Mercy Oakland - New Patient Tower

 St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Regional Healing Arts Program
is interested in purchasing a wide range of artwork for its new South Patient Tower. Artists residing in Michigan are invited to apply.

Program:  Come hear about St. Joseph Mercy Oakland's new Healing Arts Program, an initiative that will put over 400 pieces of original art in the new South Patient Care Tower.


Participants will learn about the building and the role that art plays in a healthcare environment and receive an overview about the Call For Artists.

  Black History Month Art Exhibit: Ariana Gallery - Contemporary Art in Royal Oak Michgian   

The Ariana Gallery in Royal Oak is honoring February's Black History Month with an exhibit featuring traditional and contemporary African Art by local and international artists.

March - Juried Teapot Exhibition.  Click here to download the entry form.  Opening Reception will be March 9th 2012, at Firebrick Gallery and Pottery Studio.
May - DECK ART 2012. This is our second Skateboard Silent Auction and Art Competition. Hosted by Firebrick Gallery and Pottery Studio and South Street Skateshop. This year, the Silent Auction will be held on Thursday, May 17th. Exhibition opens on Friday, May 18!
