Meetings will normally be on the last Friday of the month.  Our May meeting is being pushed to June 1st due to Memorial Day.

Langsford is a world class choral ensemble with over 60 members including I/ACT Board member Larry Keisling who has also participated in their international competitions. This summer they are again traveling to Wales to compete!

Detroit River Artscape -  Deadline Moved to June 3rd
Sunday, June 3rd is the new deadline! 

is an open competition hosted by the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy. It is a juried art show with $15,000 in cash prizes.

I/ACT's Donna Beaubien is the coordinator and one of the jurors!

Cost is a flat $20 for 3 entries. Apply via  Juried Art Services.   
Entry Deadline:  June 3rd / Notification Date: June 8th.

ASID  Chair-ity Auction at Leon and Lulu's: June 7th
Custom designed Chairs for Chair-ty as created by members of the American Society of Interior Designers! They are also  looking for student or other volunteers.

Ewe Revue 2 - Downtown Rochester: May 19 - Sept
"Mewelin Rouge"

Ewe Revue 2 is a community wide public art event, and this year's theme is "Hollywood".

I/ACT artist Cynthia Buchanan created
Paint a Miracle's  delightful entry called
"Mewelin Rouge" which will located on Water Street near Fourth.  (Bigger Image)

Belian Art Center Article in Somerset Gazette 

The May 14th Troy Somerset Gazette included photos from the current "Canvas and Clay" show featuring the paintings of James Homer Brown and ceramics of Jeremy Forman.  It also included a picture of Zabel's "Pottery Loft".  (Links to bigger image and exhibit flyer.)
