Novi Home Show Report 
Traffic for the 2013 Spring Home & Garden Show was significantly ahead of last year's.  Sales for our I/ACT artists were 50% ahead the 2012 results! 

We have also been asked to participate in the 2014 Spring Home & Garden Show!

Big "Thank You's" to Rosalie Lamb and Beth Monicatti-Blank our Home & Garden Show liasons who made this endeavor possible.  Thanks also to the participating artists, student volunteers and the additional artists who helped to set up the show even though they couldn't participate.

Thank you also to Mardi Chapman who made the signs and Zabel Belian who offered her gallery for several last minute planning meetings. Last, a Huge Thank You to I/ACT Executive Director Linda Shears who endlessly, coordinated, planned and oversaw every aspect of this event!!

Village Fine Arts Open House:  Sun Apr 14th 2 - 5pm 
Donna Beaubien's Village Fine Arts Gallery has moved to a new building at the Village of Rochester Hills Shopping Center. 

They are in the store previously occupied by Yankee Candle.  I/ACT artists represented at the store include Donna Beaubien, Jeanne Sarna, Terrie Voigt, Zabel Belian and James Homer Brown.  

All I/ACT members are invited to this Sunday's Open House!

Paint A Miracle Spring Fundraiser:   Mon Apr 29th  
Donations are needed for silent auction fundraiser. They are also looking for table sponsors and advertisers for their program book.

Paint a Miracle is an award winning organization that helps people living with disabilities and other challenges through artistic therapy.  I/ACT artist Cynthia Buchanan is a board member at Paint A Miracle. 

Meet the artists and hear their inspiring stories of transformation at their 8th annual luncheon.

Artists' work will be available for sale from 10am to 2pm. The silent auction will take place after lunch.

Langsford Men's Chorus:   May 14 - 17 - 19, 2013

Langsford Men's Chorus is a world class choral ensemble with over 60 members including I/ACT Board member Larry Keisling who has also participated in their international competitions.

Their Spring Festival of Song performance will take place on three dates / locations in May:

Gifts of Art is currently accepting art exhibit proposals for the August 2013 - August 2014 exhibit year.  Individual artists or arts organizations may apply.  As one of the first and most comprehensive arts in healthcare programs nationwide, Gifts of Art brings the world of art & music to the University of Michigan Health System.  Our nine galleries display over 50 exhibits a year.  They include 2-D and 3-D spaces that are viewed by approximately 10,000 people a day.  This makes our galleries some of the most widely visited indoor, non-museum exhibit spaces in the state. 


Entry Requirements

Submissions may be made online or by mail

Our exhibit program's mission is to enhance the health system's environment of care and to assist and complement the healing process
Please read the requirements and instructions carefully.  Only submit images that reflect the proposed exhibit.  Successful exhibits have a cohesive focus, theme or feel. 


Submission must be received or uploaded by May 15, 2013Final notifications will be sent by July 15, 2013.
