Larry Zdeb's Art Find on Antiques Roadshow
On Saturday, June 1, Antiques Roadshow kicked off its 2013 Summer Tour in Detroit at Cobo Hall.

Larry and Pat Zdeb were in attendance. Larry expected his Lone Ranger memorabilia to be the big winner. However it was a $2 painting he purchased 15 years ago that was the big surprise!

"Bill's Place" by Kenneth Nunamaker (a "Pennsylvania School Impressionist") was appraised to be worth between $6,000 and $10,000 by Art Appraiser Alasdair Nichol. The episode should air in January.

Sculpture by MI Artist Needed: June 28th Deadline
St Joseph Mercy Oakland selected art works from many Michigan artists for their renovation and is still in need of one more piece: an inspirational sculpture. It can be a newly created or already existing artwork. Their budget is $10,000. More details below.

"In the main lobby near the elevators is an area where a piece of sculpture is designed to be placed in a planter. We are looking for an original work that can complement a space approximately three feet in diameter and five feet tall. It should represent sacred journey and can include elements of community and spirituality, as well as serving as an iconic piece that supports the wayfinding. Sculpture must be able to be touched and created out of metal, stone, wood, concrete, granite, mosaic, or bronze."

Please respond by June 28, 2013. Submit portfolios to Pam Nickell, Arts Coordinator at nickell@aesthetics.net.  Aesthetics, Inc. 301 Spruce Street San Diego, CA 92103 Ph: 619-683-7500
