About the Mural:  This 50 x 90 inch mural was designed for a childrens' speech therapy class. The children often have trouble pronouncing the letters R and S which is why words such as Rainbow, Ready,  Sounds, Speech and Write are used in the composition.

The mural is painted with highly detailed brush strokes. Also included is a question mark sign to encourage the kids to think and ask questions. The colors are warm, but  intentionally somewhat subdued.

The detailed painting technique combines the glazing and layering technique used by Rembrandt with the brush stroke technique used by Vincent Van Gogh.

MANY THANKS to Tom Gross of the Ford & Earl Architectural and Design firm for donating painting space to the artists.
